Radioactive water may have been leaking into Sea SINCE TSUNAMI/QUAKE
Edited on Sat Apr-02-11 04:00 AM by Bluebear
RIKUZENTAKATA, Japan – Japan's prime minister surveyed the damage in a town gutted by a massive tsunami, as officials said Saturday that highly radioactive water was leaking into the sea from the nuclear plant stricken by the disaster.

The Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear complex has been spewing radioactivity since March 11, when a magnitude-9.0 earthquake and ensuing wave knocked out power, disabling cooling systems and allowing radiation to seep out of the overheating reactors....

Saturday's leak was from a newly discovered crack in a maintenance pit on the edge of the Fukushima complex, Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency spokesman Hidehiko Nishiyama said.

The crack was apparently caused by the quake and may have been leaking since then, said spokesman Osamu Yokokura of Tokyo Electric Power Co., which runs the plant.

1. I figured that out on day two
I should apply for a job there, I think.

Adding a certified moron to their could be a useful intelligence boost for them. Or are they lying and they knew all along? hmmmmmmmm.....

I'd have to say they were lying - those buildings were destroyed by that tsunami

4. I saw they were empty in the flyover stills and video
It was clear as a bell. Yet no one on TV mentioned that fact. Spent all the time talking about steam, which was clearly coming from deep, deep down in the well, probably from water table or seawater incursion.

3. "No surprise to some of us here..."
we've been saying that sumpin's wrong since day 4 or 5. But noooooo....we were told by others here that it was comparable to eating bananas or living in a stone house or playing the oboe or farting in the bathtub.

To paraphrase Edward G. Robinson in The Ten Commandments: "Where's your cooling tower now?"

5. Exactly
I put one of them on ignore because all he did was defend the nuclear industry and post pictures of bombs blowing up in Nevada. He claimed that this was nothing compared to that - however that also killed people and caused cancer.

TEPCO has been lying through their teeth since the very beginning. When their own CEO disappears and leaves the country, that should tell you something isn't right. That didn't even come out until he was found.

6. He's TS'd I believe...
he kept posting that pic of the hydrogen bomb as though we wanted to see that...having lived thru the Srontium-90 scares in the 60's I could have done without his cheerleading...
