5. I spoke to my daughter in Madison last night. She says the area |
|
is filled with homemade Kloppenburg yard signs-there are no printed ones left.

13. I could have phrased that better. Like "they ran out of"- this |
|
makes it sound like they are being stolen, although some probably are....

7. This ad contains a serious blunder. When the speaker is talking |
|
about how the people's voices were ignored and how the courts are being bought, the ad shows the Democratic challenger's name--doubled, because it shows on the left and right of the image.
Only after the impression has been made that SHE is the one who will help Walker take away people's rights does the ad show that the bad guy is actually Prosser. The way people's minds work, the initial impression that the Democratic challenger is the problem might not ever get corrected, even if people do bother to watch the ad the whole way through, which is also not at all guaranteed.
They need to stress early and often that she is the good guy and Prosser is the bad guy.

10. Agreed - this ad seems to be "preaching to the choir" |
|
who already know how to vote, just not wehn.
There should be a CLEAR call to "Vote Kloppenburg" repeated several time, and finally again at the end. This ad just fades out with a non-specific "PLEASE VOTE"
Vote for who?
This candidate has an odd name. It stands out on a list. Take advantage!!!

11. Actually, it's not a Kloppenburg ad at all |
|
Edited on Sat Apr-02-11 10:30 AM by demwing
its a "Vote Tuesday" ad. Actually, its more a "Vote against Walker" ad, which is great, but why not go all out?
It barely mentions Kloppenburg's name, and actually muddies the message, IF the message were "Vote Kloppenburg," but as I said, it isn't.
Look at the disclaimer at the end: Paid for by Greater Wisconsin Committee. Not Authorized by any candidate, etc...
