Dog rescued off tsunami-devastated coast

Dog rescued off tsunami-devastated coast
A member of the Japan Coast Guard carries a rescued dog as he arrives at the port of Shiogama, in Miyagi Prefecture, on April 2, 2011. Coast guard members aboard a helicopter found the dog on a roof, believed to have been washed away by the March 11 tsunami, drifting some 1.8 kilometers off the coast, the previous day. (Kyodo)

2. I saw that. The term "lucky dog" really applies here.
That dog will have nothing but an absolutely wonderful life from here on out.

Just like those I have rescued through the years (and miss terribly).

Good dog, Beebs (goodbye last November).
