Japan Quake Map
http://www.japanquakemap.com/

Posted this link several times but another DUer posted first.

Have lived my entire life in earthquake / volcano zone of California and Oregon and the magnitude and frequency is extreme. The last update viewed recorded 819 earth quakes over 4.0 in Japan most off shore northeast of Tokyo.

Some of the quakes are shallow but most are deep and the intensity and number is in decline.

One could wager the years until there is a new volcano NW of Tokyo. 10? 100? 1000?, 10,000? 50,000? however many years until a volcano breaches?

I like and care for the innocent people of Japan.

1. Hell of an interactive map.
Really brings home how much that fault area was producing quakes.
I set it to show anything above a 4 magnitude, hundreds of "sticky dots".

K&R!
