No degree, little experience pay off big (Walker Admin)
http://www.jsonline.com/watchdog/noquarter/119159584.html

Just in his mid-20s, Brian Deschane has no college degree, very little management experience and two drunken-driving convictions.

Yet he has landed an $81,500-per-year job in Gov. Scott Walker's administration overseeing environmental and regulatory matters and dozens of employees at the Department of Commerce. Even though Walker says the state is broke and public employees are overpaid, Deschane already has earned a promotion and a 26% pay raise in just two months with the state.

How did Deschane score his plum assignment with the Walker team?

...

His father is Jerry Deschane, executive vice president and longtime lobbyist for the Madison-based Wisconsin Builders Association, which bet big on Walker during last year's governor's race.

The group's political action committee gave $29,000 to Walker and his running mate, Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, last year, making it one of the top five PAC donors to the governor's successful campaign. Even more impressive, members of the trade group funneled more than $92,000 through its conduit to Walker's campaign over the past two years.

2. My teabagger rep attended a local junior college (no associate degree)
and makes $174,000.00 a year. Go figure. Brains don't count, only the rabid teabag ideology matters to them and their voters.

Thank you, Mr. Brice, you have just helped me choose my candidate for State Supreme Court. An uneducated high living baffoon in the Commerce Department NEEDS a Supreme Court Justice that has history of defending our state's natural resources against all the ~slightly~ unethical practises of the new businesses that Gubner Walker is sure to attract. - BetteDavis

Strong Unions coupled with enforcement of Civil Service rules would have prevented this. All jobs would have to be posted and tested for. But nepotism and cronyism will run rampant from now on. - Silentbutdeadly.

Fellow Citizens, please don't be so negative. Focusing on this young lad's
inexperience and lack of appropriate education will blind you to the most
important reality: this guy was put in office to dismantle environmental
regulation. Given his resume, I assume he's a low-level political hack, a
coat-holder who will do as he is told. Given that Walker's agenda, he won't
need much expertise to open the way for bulldozing the state's
environment. In perfect keeping with the state's new motto: "Mediocrity." - WashPkLouie

7. The new appointee has plenty of what Walker wants - the ability to
look the other way. They have no intention of protecting WI.

8. and northern illinois!
look at a map of southern wisconsin and northern illinois. 99% of our waterways start in southern wisconsin. we share aquifers that provide the majority of our drinking water.

time to mobilize the fishermen and women! the property owners around the lakes in wisconsin. even the most conservative teabagger lake front owner and fisher people will be pissed if the lake turns to green slime and the rivers start foaming again.
