A presidential election is fine and dandy and all of that....
However, the most important part of fixing America lies in what we can do to take back the state houses, governor's mansions, congressional seats and senate seats.

Let's not forget the judgeships, county executive chairs, city halls and councilships.

Make sure to focus on your school boards and your attorneys generalships.

And lastly, please give some love to our candidates for secretaries of state.

The point being, that if we focus all of our precious time and resources on whether or not President Obama gets reelected, all the rest will seep through our fingers like grains of sand and it won't matter what happens at the top.

Things are pretty much bad enough as it is right now in that regard as we can all attest to.

4. Quite honestly, I'm more concerned with county and state elections than I am the...
presidential contest. That's not to say I am unconcerned mind you.

5. Well said and my position exactly
Obama has grown into a big boy who can take care of himself. I think he actually doesn't think he really needs most of us anymore anyway. He has the banks and the big money interests in his corner so why should he play to us?

6. This is one of the things we are seeing now. No one political office
has the power to fix this alone. I am going to look into my local elections as I never have before. We are fighting for our lives here not just on the federal and state level but also at the local level. Thank you.
