A man whose life, while much better documented than any other major religious figure, is still shrouded in myth. A man of whom writings about his day to day life are about as biased and unreliable as the Gospels are to Jesus's life. But it seems vastly unlikely that anyone remotely capable of or interested in appearing for the defence would want to go anywhere near Jones, and a show trial is nearly always a bad thing.
