1. To the person who voted F
So Obama is one of the worst presidents in history? He's as bad as Bush?

4. That person may not have been grading on a curve.
That person might give all US Presidents an F.

9. The question isn't "Compare Obama to Bush" it's "Grade Obama"

10. Then you should have said, "Grade Obama compared to Bush."
I gave Obama a B.

11. Bush was lower than an 'F.'
I imagine you could think of it as Bush got a 10% and Obama got a 50%. Obama much, much better than Bush, but both still Fs.

I didn't give Obama an F, by the way.

17. In short: Bush was worse, but Obama still gets an F
for continuing so many Bush-era policies, and for failing to hold the Neocons accountable.

On all the major issues, I really don't see a difference.

- DHS/TSA still harassing free citizens? Check.
- So-called 'wars' on drugs and terror still raging? Check.
- MCA, the unPATRIOTic Act still law? Check.
- Still in Iraq and Afghanistan? Check.
- GITMO still open? Check.
- US war criminals walking about scot free? Check.
- Wall St. still riding rough shod over Main St.? Check.
- Off-shoring and H1-B visas still strangling the job market? Check.

That's all I really need to make my decision.

5. Any grade besides incomplete...
....is indefensible, except as a species of polemic. Even FDR wasn't "FDR" until near his death, or even after. There's a colorable case to be made that "FDR" didn't exist for history-and-social-science purposes until Arthur Schlesinger, Jr. created him, in his trilogy.

7. I have to give a C, but if I could, it would be a C-.
Still, passed an inadequate healthcare reform, ended DADT (at least on paper so far), some other good stuff, and DID intervene in Libya.

But still very disappointing.

19. Solid 'D'
Looks like I'm in the majority on this grade.

Democrats and Obama together haven't done much to deserve re-election.
