3. What did you end up using?
Because if you avoided using a GP product, you probably avoided using a union-made product.

4. Outstanding.

You have every right to make that request and I'm glad your contractor understands that.
Maybe he's had this happen before. That's putting your money where your mouth is.

 :hi:

10. I agree, most of us can only do little things, but if a lot of us do it then they can become big
things. I'd like to be the owner of a construction company that used to order their crap, I'd stop it in a heart beat and I'm hoping that some construction owners, on our side, have started doing that. I know one thing, I need new carpet for a couple of bedrooms soon, no stain master for me.

11. That's the whole concept of a union.
And the United States, too, come to think of it. E Pluribus Unum.

And, although I don't like to think of it, the symbol of fascism.

Everyone who has ever wanted to achieve anything figured out that going it alone wasn't the answer.

21. true, look how far backwards the rethugs have tried to take this country as we became more divided
we must stick together, come together, fight together to win this war on the people, by the corporations and their bought and paid for government......sponsored by KOCH!

18. Yay! Good for you!
I have a list of their products, NOT going to buy anything made by Koch Bros.

I wonder could we have leaflets made up with a little info on how they are conducting a war against the working class and leave them on every super-market shelf that carries their products? Or would that be illegal?

'Before you buy this product, here's a little info you might find interesting'!

Just wondering ...

22. I don't know of any law that says you can't leave leaflets by Koch products in stores, they'd most
likely remove them before most could see them, but No law exists. It would probably be better to stand outside the store, you know, like all the others who stand there and ask you to sign petitions, buy girl scout cookies and so on, and hand each person a leaflet. No law against that, at least where I live. The big stores Ralphs, Albertsons, Trader Joes, put up signs saying, "we do not sponsor those outside of our stores, please ignore them and they will go away" lol They never do. Thanks for commenting Sabrina. All the best,
Lou
