The corporate Republicans and the media are formidable enemies .. |
|
The Republicans lie to the people and the corporate media smile and cover for them. The people are ill-served by these cohorts in crime. Yes, it is criminal. The few people on MSNBC and other places cannot compete with this propaganda double-team. No one can keep up with the lies. As someone once stated, lies can travel around the world while the truth is putting its shoes on. This is the enemy that confronts us.
For example, look at how the media portrays the plan of Paul Ryan. Has there ever been a more destructive plan against the elderly and the working class of this country? But the corporate media attempts to portray him as a voice of reason in the jungle of opposing viewpoints. Our country has not faced such a dangerous enemy in a very long time.

sound" right after the economic collapse. There was no way they could hide that.
Before then they glossed over every McCain "gaffe" and sugar coated his Policies, and tried very hard to "mainstream" Palin.
(Lets not forget GOTV)

4. Sometimes the reality is so omnipresent that it cannot be spun... |
|
As it was when Bush left office. We were in very dire straits, which we have yet to recover from. However, the lapse of time tends to erase the fears of those realities. Now, it is as if it never happened...

2. You are 100% correct. The media are "mainstreaming" Paul Ryan, even though he is an Extremist |
|
They will do everything possible to make this happen for the Republicans. They will do everything to muddy the waters and confuse public opinion.

6. Sigh. We are vastly more powerful than them. |

Sadly, we have been conditioned to believe otherwise.
