Scott Walker's administration gave a state job and a 26% raise to the son of a major supporter
Source: Daily Kos

Wisconsin Republicans claim that their state is broke, and have used that claim to justify stripping state workers of their collective bargaining rights. And yet, even though they claim to be broke, Scott Walker's administration just gave a state job, and a 26% raise, to the son of a major supporter who has no college degree, no relevant experience, and two drunk driving convictions.

More here--

Just in his mid-20s, Brian Deschane has no college degree, very little management experience and two drunken-driving convictions.

Yet he has landed an $81,500-per-year job in Gov. Scott Walker's administration overseeing environmental and regulatory matters and dozens of employees at the Department of Commerce. Even though Walker says the state is broke and public employees are overpaid, Deschane already has earned a promotion and a 26% pay raise in just two months with the state.

How did Deschane score his plum assignment with the Walker team?

It's all in the family.

This is infuriating and disgusting! F*ck the GOP and their "Oh, oh, our state budget is broke. We have to cut public services and end unions that contribute to our deficit! Oh, oh..."

Repubs are the vilest hypocrites who ever walked this Earth! Their stench permeates and stains all that is America. :grr:

1. You know, no matter how many times I read tghis disgusting story...
I'm still very confident that nothing will be done about it, and Walker will face few if any repercussions for it.

3. I thought it was "late breaking" news.
Heard a report on Democracy Now! this morning on my way to work.

Old or new, it is an aggravating story!
