Shame on you America. Shame on you for:
Exulting the rich and famous
Standing by while our poor and needy are abandoned
Measuring a persons worth by what they own and how much money they have
Writing off the homeless assuming that they are all mentally ill, lazy and asked for it
Allowing the encroachment of laws that take away a woman's right to not have children
Continuing to live as if the oil supply is never going to run out
Believing that science has the answer to everything
Lowering the mental bar by watching Fox and shows that idolize people
Thinking and or believing the lies that the Gulf oil spill disappeared
Accepting with out a fight the removal of previously held constitutional rights
Capitulating to the "what other choice do you have" political campaigns
Abandoning the lessons that we should have learned from history
Ignoring the deaths of the innocent due to our tax contributions to the MIC and megalomaniac sociopath leaders
Lowering the bar for education
Thinking that your vote is going to make or break this country
Standing by while all these Wall Street crooks and war criminals go unpunished
Joining the military and learning to kill just so you can have a job
Letting greed infect and destroy our government
Not telling our children the truth about their future
Believing that patriotism has any value for anything but to psych people into blind obedience
Putting American flags and military stickers on your cars
Accepting the "American exceptionalism" shit flying out of the mouths of our leaders
Letting our government leaders go on thinking that we actually believe them anymore
Believing our government tells the truth about anything anymore
Participating in over the top consumption of crap you don't "need"
Failing to put your selves in the shoes of the other

--- I'm getting burned out with this so add yours below.

Thanks and have a nice day.

3. America has turned to Satan.
Has forgotten.... "Whatever you did to the least of mine, you did it unto me".

6. LOL ...yea right ...not voting means evil will flourish. Did you vote for the Wall Street criminals?
Did you vote to stop Phil Gramm from removing financial regulations? Did you have a vote about the wars? etc

7. I show up and vote for those I can rather than sitting at home and bitching later.
So yes, shame on those who can not at least be bothered to vote at all.

9. If we ever get a tax payer only funded campaign law ...then maybe
I bothered to vote for Obama and we still have wars and greed still runs our government.

5. I AM ashamed of who/what we've become. The term "ugly American" comes to
mind. :(

And honestly, it's not so much us as it's 'them' -- but, speaking for myself, I know I could and should be doing more.

World peace begins with me.

And who on earth would unrec this? Are people PROUD of themselves for allowing this to happen?

8. What a pointless exercise in self-flagellation
So what are you going to do about any of it? Besides gnash your teeth and rend your garments to affirm your moral fortitude on an internet message board?

14. Well that's how a lot of us got here in the first place. Our ancestors
left another country and came here.

Emigration is hardly a new concept.

13. How about that science will find the solutions to our ever increasing energy consumption.
or how about what we will do about finite resources that we depend on to continue growth.
