1. Obama '12....or else!
I think we're going to see a WHOLE lot of that over the next year and a half.

I'm already sick of it.

2. Yawn. I'm more excited about the recall elections in WI than Obama's re-election campaign
Yes, I'll hold my nose and vote for him, because the Repukes are atrocious, but Obama has done nothing to get me excited about using my precious spare time canvassing for him.

3. So the "squandered Democratic majority"
was everything to do with Obama and nothing to do with the fact that some so-called "progressives" decided to listen to Ed Schultz and not vote in 2010?

And as for Gitmo--when Congress opposes you nearly unanimously and refuses to give you the money there is only so much tilting at windmills you can do before you need to move on to items that demand your attention.

4. So you wont even be happy to people holding their nose and voting for Obama
you need them to be happy to do it too?

squandered Democratic majority refers to Obama having unprecedented majorities in congress and controlling the white house while getting almost nothing useful passed.

As far as Gitmo Obama signed the bill banning funding to close the base. He put absolutely no pressure on congress to strip this provision out before signing the bill. If he hadn't signed the bill he could have transferred all the detainees.
