Diane Sawyer started out with a story about how boomers aren't ready for retirement and then
progressed to introducing a puff piece on Paul Ryan being a tough guy and which ended with a statement that all the cuts he proposed in the budget still would not balance it for 30 years. Cutting Medicare totally in exchange for subsidized private insurance appeared to be just fine.

1. Thanks for the warning
It hasn't been on here yet. I'll watch O'Donnell, instead.

2. That's what the media will do......
That's why WE have to spread the word....
not wait around thinking that it is only the job
of the White house....especially since the only time
anything is reported from the White House, it is only
to make Obama look negative in some way.

The media wants Ryan to run, and will build him up
all the way until September, when he will announce.

It's not that he's so smart, although dumb people think so....
it's that he is the only one with enough charisma to take on
this President.

Mark my words.

4. cutting medicare in favor of subsidized private insurance... if only Obama and the Dems had pushed
REAL health care reform (with options to buy into medicare for people over 50) instead of forcing everyone into the insurance companies arms.
But NO. They capitulated to the insurance companies and screwed us all. The HMO's and insurance companies ARE the problem.
