Giants fan beaten at Dodger Stadium appears to have brain damage
A San Francisco Giants fan attacked outside Dodger Stadium last week appears to have suffered brain damage and remains in a medically-induced coma.
Bryan Stow, 42, suffered a severe skull fracture and bruising to his frontal lobe when he was attacked Thursday, said Gabriel Zada, among the doctors who have attended to Stow at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center.

A paramedic, father of two and lifelong San Francisco Giants fan from Santa Cruz, Calif., Stow and two friends traveled south to attend the season opener. Clad in Giants regalia, Stow was attacked from behind and the men police believe assaulted him fled into a large crowd exiting the game.
Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said he plans to work with the Dodgers to reassess stadium security. He also spoke with Stow's mother Monday, calling her "an absolute inspiration."
