that email also. And it's not the worst of what I get from her. I responded to one of the more vile, racist pieces of garbage to everyone on the list about two weeks ago. Usually I just delete them but just had to say something that day.

I did not get a single response.

This email came with a photo of a guy on a motor-cycle.

I don't know where people come off sending these emails to others. I have repeatedly told my friend that I do not want to receive her friends' sick, racist garbage.

But I knew two of my great-grands who NEVER talked about the war(s), from the Spanish to WWI. I was only six or so when I knew the first, but it has been my experience that they don't speak about it.

My bestest friend in the world died in December, at 90. I have no idea how many medals he earned at the battle of the bulge, but I do know he was a hero, and demonstrated that to his last days. I am also blessed with the presence of three others who don't/won't talk about their exploits.
