Anyone who wants a link to the Wisconsin Election Results for Koppenburg vs. Prosser from AP.

By the way, can anyone tell me what county the city of Madison is in?

5. Good link, shows results by County...
Milwaukee County hasn't reported anything as of this moment.

Dane County only 26 of 248 precincts.

Those are the two most heavily populated, and Democratic, areas of the State. That Kloppenburg is leading WITHOUT them is very telling.

It should not be this close. It shouldn't even be a contest.
Seems there are a lot of very stupid, blind, ignorant, selfish, insert your adjective here, people in my state.

Flipped back to Kloppenberg being ahead.

Hope that the more populous bigger Democratic districts are the ones that are counted later as is often the case...

15. It's essentially tied so far, but that's because the rural vote comes in first
It's amazing a liberal is doing that well. Once Madison, Green Bay, and Milwaukee's results come in, it's a done deal.

One positive to report, two counties with high reporting, Brown and Columbia, are definitely shifting to Dems compared to Walker vote in 2010.

29. It's Milwaukee County
Edited on Tue Apr-05-11 10:46 PM by louis c
The city's turnout was rather low for this race. I've been looking at the governor's race numbers from last year and Waukesha County is at par while Milwaukee is way down. That's going to be the difference in this race. Considering Washington County as a strong Prosser vote along with Waukesha, you have 174 strong Repuke precincts voting heavy still out there. On our side, we have 146 Milwaukee county precincts with a narrower margin and smaller turnout. Dane County has 28 strong Dem precincts left with a heavy turnout. The smaller towns look like a wash by either being Dem and Repuke or a prior 50%-%0% trend. Those 4 counties hold the race in their hands, and looks like a difficult task to pull this out.
