and I still have hope upon hope that Kloss will pull it off...

It was only 5 short months ago that the repugs killed us in the elections. This race is turning out to be a nail biter.

Win or Lose - all of the rallies in Wisconsin did matter, the repugs aren't walking all over us anymore. The tide has turned.

Now come on JoAnne and WIN this thing!

Wisconsinites - :yourock:

1. Close doesn't count
sadly, it's still a loss. Winning isn't everything; it's the only thing.

2. All Republicans think so.
Be sure to divide everyone in the world into winners and losers, too.

3. Losing this election will be a dagger to the heart.
It's 12:31 here in Illinois and I'm still trying to find out the results. Here is my disheartened and disheartening take on a loss. If Democrats in Wisconsin - in that super charged atmosphere - can't win this then it's over there. The recall efforts will fail and Walker will be in a position to say, correctly for this first time since this whole mess started, that the people of Wisconsin are more with him than we'd like to believe.

This failure will be all over Fake News and Walker will be as well. Any attempt to spin it in our favor will be looked upon for what it will be: rationalization posing as "moral victory". The reality will be that all of what has transpired in Wisconsin will be for nothing. There is NO WAY Democrats should have lost this election. The cry that it was "closer than it would normally have been" is a hollow one. If Prosser wins, it is over in Wisconsin.

Geez, was it depressing to post this.

5. Your post says 5:45 AM.
Not sure where that puts you geographically, but are we still waiting for results. I know it was close but I heard it was 51% to 49% for Prosser earlier. Any update?

6. Hard to take anything positive from a Kloppenburg loss/Prosser win in this scenario
