Poll question: Would you rather have an idiot like GW Bush or an evil genius like Putin?

Choose wisely. This is purely hypothetical. But you must pick one or the other.

Pick your poison.

2. You need to chill.
This is purely hypothetical. It has nothing to do with recent controversy. I was doing some research on Putin and got interested because I saw him in a photo standing next to monkey man.

3. Bush was a puppet of the oligarchs, Putin supposedly not so much
But I don't know much about Russian politics.
It sounds like Putin is sick of being bullied and Medvedev is running away from any confrontation.

I wonder what he would do to the American Empire if elected?

6. Neither
Google the 1999 Russia apartment bombings and then tell me how much you love Putin.

7. Neither.
And idiots often end up being manipulated by evil geniuses, or at least evil people cleverer than themselves. In Bush's case, Cheney.

8. if forced to choose, I would have to go with da Shrub

Bush was so inept that he screwed up many of the plans of his puppet masters

I would prefer someone who screws up evil schemes over one who executes them efficiently

9. In exactly what way is Putin any more evil than Bush?
Edited on Wed Apr-06-11 07:25 AM by CBGLuthier
Who has more blood on their hands?

Now "blood on the hands" may not be the most scientific metric for standards of evil but I think it is a good starting point.
