Dead heat...but which precincts are still out at 6 am?
If the precincts that are still out, generally go with their
county trends it WILL be Kloppenburg.

County Precincts D. Prosser J. Kloppenburg
Total 3596/3630 733,074 732,489

6 from Ashland (currently d leaning)
2 from crawford (currently d leaning)
1 from Dane (currently d leaning)
2 from Dunn (currently d leaning)
1 frm Jefferson (currently r leaning)
1 from Juneau (currently d leaning)
12from Milwaukee (currently d leaning)
8 from Sauk (currently d leaning)
1 from Taylor (currently r leaning)

I wonder if this is due to making hand ballots due to the big
turnout?

2. It sure looks like We Will, and the r's spent VERY big on this...
I love it when they spend 3 times what their opponents spend...and still lose.
Less money for every other nefarious scheme they've got up their sleeve.

4. It depends where in Milwaukee the unreported precincts are.
Milwaukee has strong Democratic areas, and strong Repuglican areas.

I'd expect such districts have their votes easily tallied...so I'm hopeful that these outstanding votes in Milwaukee are going to be from Black or Hispanic neighborhoods.

13. If we had the identities of the precincts yet to report it'd be easy
to figure.

As it is making no endorsement of a different result from what already has happened is parsimonious. Even if we know that it could be wrong.

I'm still expecting most of these outstanding votes to be for Kloppenburg. The areas most of them come from are traditionally blue and the counties the precincts belong to are leaning blue in this election.

The margin is so small that it will inevitably end with a recount sometime in May.

16. remarkable she caught up
People need to remember that if this election would have been held in late January-- early February, Prosser would have won 70-30. It is remarkable enough that an unknown Assistant AG with a funny name is this close and will probably win this thing.

14. 32 (D) leaning v. 2 (R) leaning?

I hope the recount goes well.

Are absentee ballots a factor in this?

Well, if nothing else this should run for a few news cycles and help get the message out about how vulnerable the conservatives are.

20. According To Facebook Page:
There are about 12,000 uncounted votes, about 11,300 of which are in counties that have been going for Kloppenburg by an average of 58%.

26. Yikes
Well, 10 of the 12 milwaukee wards are included now, and they didn't help. ( now -800 ish votes) 2 Milwaukee and 1 Dane county wards unreported.

Absentee ballots counted first, during, or last?

in their counties.

If she takes the 11,300 by 58% and loses the remaining 700 getting say - 40% of the vote, she wins.

...according to this Wisconsin State Journal article:
http://host.madison.com/wsj/news/local/govt-and-politics/elections/article_212b0a92-5ff3-11e0-8d71-001cc4c002e0.html

With the only exception being the 1 straggler from Juneau which is a close win for Kloppenberg so far.

Go K!!
