Despite that the network news hasn't been all that for a decade or so or how it has a minute of news and 21 minutes of "human interest" crap that makes it hard to imagine what humans would be interested, it appears that network honchos are idiots who need to intern digging ditches to hone their connection to common humanity. Ms COURIC, scored with me for her stealth interview with Quitter, judging only from Quitter's subsequent hatred of her not from COURIC's intentions. Although she irritated me from the start by hosting LIMBOsevic on her debut, and then in her running away in Egypt exemplifying how out of touch elite broadcasting is. At least Diane never abandoned her spike heels in NY, sticking with striding around a map on the floor. After all, as the Brits say, these dweebs on t.v. are only "readers".

But it's a mystery how the honchos make their personality choices: For years we've heard it's about physical appearance, specifically for women. The choice of PELLEY brings *that* into doubt. Why not the weirdos from Dateline NBC ----the Predator dude or that really weird MORRISON dude?!1
