After last night's vote, do you still think so?

1. No, people have still not woken up enough. Too many still cannot be bothered to vote,
and actually voting is how you win elections. Talk is cheap.

2. Yes. We had amazing turnout and a race that would have ben a Prosser LANDSLIDE 8 weeks ago
is now within literally dozens of votes. Walker's old seat was won by a liberal in a landslide and recall efforts are still strong.

You can go cry in your Cheerios, but some of us in Wisconsin still have a movement we're working on.

11. It sure looks that way!
And thanks - people who "write us off" over this are stupid, naive and quite frankly, jerks. :)

3. welcome to DU--no, I didn't think that--too many people are too conditioned, too complacent, or too
frightened.

7. Many don't seem to get it's "their" government, so they act like children listening
to parental authoritarians. The country operates like a big high school.

5. Absolutely. When you consider that Kloppe was unknown
and Pros was favored to win only one month ago.

Daily Run Down: Chuck said said this was a backlash
against Walker. The other Democrat running for office
won and the Race for Justice is requirng a recount.
This should have never happened. He even suggested
to Bachman that the Tea Party might take note.

This illustrates what can be done when all Democrats
work togther. They turned this thing around in less
than a month. In these circumstances a tie is almost
as good as win.

Look not thee down but up.

6. What do you mean remember it only took American's 4 years after the Nixon
power grab to elect an R who they then kept in office for 8 years followed by another R even though the economy was a mess due to R's war on unions and tax give aways to the rich while paying corporations to off shore America's production industry. Even after a D was elected who put the country back on the road to recovery they elected another R who screwed everything up to the point of economic melt down then 2 years later elected to put the people who caused the economic melt down in control of congress. Really does that sound like people woke up?

9. It has to get bad enogh that a large number of people earning
60 K annually feel a real pinch--one that hurts.
If the GOP enact their policies it will not take
long before those earners are screaming and when
that happens--Katie, bar the door.

I hope we can stop some of the mindless policies
and get some fairness in the system.
