No matter the outcome of the WI judge seat - Walker & WIGOP in serious trouble
From what I read JoAnne Kloppenburg was a relative new person to politics with very little name recognition. A previous election she received like 25% of the votes plus she is running against the incumbant.

And yet this political rookie is very close to upsetting the incumbant.

The people are pissed in Wisconsin and this is not good for Walker and the GOP. I suspect it's only going to get worse for them with this recall vote.

3. Nonetheless. The Republicans really got their people out there.
From now on, NOBODY can stay home.

15. "From now on, NOBODY can stay home."
Good post, this is very apparent now, isn't it?

This is the valuable lesson Dems absolutely must learn from the Prosser-Kloppenburg race.

4. Yes. We had amazing turnout and a race that would have ben a Prosser LANDSLIDE 8 weeks ago
is now within literally dozens of votes. Walker's old seat was won by a liberal in a landslide and recall efforts are still strong. It's almost unprecedented that a sitting SC judge loses.

People can give up on us, write us off and go cry in their Cheerios, but some of us in Wisconsin still have a movement we're working on.

10. Thanks!
I think what I saw referred to the county that had a 33% turnout, which is good for this sort of election, but not awesome, considering the ramifications.

It's looking like the outcome will be really awesome though!

11. I beg to differ. Spring non-partisan election with ONE statewide race - 33% is amazing.

5. Thank you LynneSin...
I was very sad to turn on the computer this morning only to see that Kloppenburg did not get the out-right nod.

Every vote counts. Our GOTV in 2012 is going to have to be intense.

I ven went to google and finally figured out the fial results aren't in yet! Are there any projections of when they might have the finals? I'm not in Wisc. but I've really been rooting for JoAnn.

HERE

Kloppenberger is about 250 votes ahead with only 3 precincts left 2 in Milwaukee and one in Jefferson.

7. Keep in mind too, that Prosser had the FULL
Keep in mind too, that Prosser had the FULL GOP and Koch and Right-wing machine behind him. (Unofficially in re. the GOP of course.)

That's $$$, that's free AM radio (and TMJ4) media exposure, thats lists, computers, services, etc.

Win or lose, they threw everything they had behind Prosser. They knew they needed a friendly (or in the Prosser campaign's words: "complementary") supreme court to rubber stamp their illegalities. They weren't taking any chances.

And they still might lose!

GWAHAHAHAHAHAH!
