And first at 5 pm. I can see that. MSNBC has Tweety on at 5 but re-airs it at 7. CNN has Wolf Blitzer at 5 and he's not what I would call 'strong competition.'

First of all, we'll see if this actually happens. Could be some sort of publicity stunt/ratings ploy. Could be he doesn't want the demands of a daily show or doesn't like the scrutiny/bad press. Could be conflicts with the management. Could be anything, really. We'll see I guess.

My guess is that he's waiting until the new channel is up and running to announce to the faithful that "YES.... he is the second coming of Christ and all will be well for the believers". Either that or he's become a believer in the movement that says the world will end on May 21 and he's hoping to put some distance between himself and this second coming of Christ.
