Chads 2: The Recount Strikes Back |
|
Yep all those lovable County Clerks, Volunteers, Skeezy Lawyers and Political Operatives, the AstroTurf Republican Protests and crusty judges are coming back.
A location and a new cast, but the same blood- curdling adventures and chills and thrills are back.
And, yes, those arguments of whether a hole in a punchcard is valid if it is .005 in diameter instead of .008. And the TV talking heads arguing about it, with the interpretation based on party and ideology.
.Will the dreaded SCOTUS Monster be back too? Stay tuned.

in Wisconsin. We use paper ballots which are optically read. It's not perfect but it is better than Florida in 2000.

Congratulations to Justice Kloppenburg.
Say it once, say it twice, say it again.
It's the kind of framing we know the popular media understand. So just say it.

5. If This Goes to the State Supreme Court |
|
Does Prosser get to rule on his own case?
I know that tradition would call for him to recuse himself, but what if he doesn't?

6. Except now you have precedent. |
|
In the end, Florida was chastised for not having one even method of voting throughout the State. It still doesn't. So be prepared to call political foul when the Republicans start yelling unfairness.
