We're not big losers because we weren't big losers
This seems to be the Republican spin on their rather embarrassing loss in the Wisconsin Supreme Court election.

Every troll on every democratic forum is pushing the same argument. "We should have lost by more if this was a people's mandate."

Of course, only a group of really big losers could find comfort in the "We should have lost by more." rationalization.

2. They put in all their chips and we put in part of ours and we won.
They are right about one thing. They should have lost by a lot more if all the Dems and Indies turned out to vote.
