How Did Your Representative Vote on DC Vouchers?
Source: Americans United Action Alert

Give Your Legislator Feedback on Their Vote!

On March 30, the House of Representatives passed a bill to reauthorize and expand the DC voucher program by a vote of 225-195. Although this bill passed in the House, your action was not in vain. Several members of Congress made passionate speeches on the House floor prior to the vote, and many of our concerns were raised. Thank you for your advocacy and commitment to this issue!

The 195 legislators who took a stand against subsidies for private education also deserve to be thanked, so this is your chance to thank them! And, if your Representative voted for the voucher expansion, please remind him or her that public education and religious liberty must not be undermined in DC or anywhere else.

To find out how your Representatives voted and to send them a follow-up message, enter your info below!:

2. Thanks! It is still very important to use the full spectrum of tools available
to us in our democracy. Even if they don't listen to your letter you have registered your opinion.

The less people utilize these avenues, the easier it might be to contemplate doing away with them.

Church/State separation is especially crucial to maintain given the current state of things.

10. Done - I like the fact that it thanks him/her for voting the right way. I'm lucky
that my guy (Inslee) generally does.

Thanks for posting this!

11. Yer Welcome! I agree with you; we need to acknowledge our reps
when they act according to our principles on an issue.
