What they conveniently forget is that August 2nd the reconstituted court could just as easily accept any other pending case bearing on collective bargaining and decide it in such a way as to give cause for the initial case to be reconsidered. If I remember correctly, until just recently EVERY particular of the Miranda ruling was considered inviolable. Then another Supreme court went conservative and "POOF".

Seems the talking heads have forgotten that (as they often remind us) "Elections have Consequences!!!".
