Republicans Lawmakers are chopping Education funding at all levels - pre-school, elementary, middle school, and high school. Within the week, Republican House Representatives will be adding ANOTHER educational level to their ANTI-EDUCATION chopping block – Pell Grants to help students attend college. Contact your legislators to show your support for continued funding in this area.

2. Everybody -- please understand that this is not a unilateral push by the GOP.

Many Dems in Congress are standing shoulder-to-shoulder with their Republican counterparts. As usual, the first and hardest impacted by this move will be the financially needy would depend upon Pell money to get an education.

As if that was not enough, the Yellow Ribbon program (sort of a latter day GI Bill) has been slashed. Many vets who are currently in school are being told that the money they were promised for tuition is being pulled back.

3. They want to END Public Education

Vouchers to private schools which only the rich will be able to afford. HOME SCHOOL, where Mommy can stay home, for the Middle Class and Poor.

It's the complete package. Dumb down and eliminate the Middle Class. The increased numbers of Poor will not be able to fight them, or will even know HOW.
