Glenn Beck: Fox News ‘one of the only places you’ll find truth’

Conservative conspiracy host Glenn Beck compared himself to American icon Paul Revere on Wednesday after announcing that he's leaving Fox News.

"When I took this job, I didn't take it because it was going to be a career for me," Beck said. "Paul Revere did not get up on that horse and say, 'I'm going to do this for the rest of my life.' He got off the horse at some point and fought in the revolution."

In typical fashion, Beck ominously warned his viewers that America was heading into "deep and treacherous waters."

"Fox is one of the only places you'll find truth," he said at the end of his show. "Spread the word. Stick together. And together we will do the right thing for our country and for our world."

I wanted to see what he would say about leaving FOX, so I tuned him in today.

Biker13 was so disgusted, he didn't pay attention, but I got the impression, God help us, that he was preparing to run for office!

I'm of two minds on this. Yes, let him run! Who the hell would vote for him!? Than I think, Oh God, think of all the people who WOULD vote for him!

I'm kind of sad he's leaving though,I wanted his melt-down to be televised!
