I could see Glenn Beck going over to the History Channel
They could squeeze him in between "UFOs in Ancient Egypt" and "Nostradamas: 2012 and beyond".

3. Not anymore
Now it's all bigfoot, giant spiders, Nostradamus, and 'dangerous jobs.' Aside from the latter, it's quite literally what you would see in the Weekly World News.

Every once in a while they will squeeze in some real history programming, but that is rare and even then it's stuff that was produced 10-15 years ago.

4. Remember when they actually did history? There was a series they
produced about 'ancient battles' where they laid out the strategies, introduced the major players, and included CGI animation of Thermopoly, Cannae, Hastings, Alexander's campaigns, Actium, Agincourt. I thought that was the best series I ever saw.

Today, I would not be surprised to see them hosting WWF cage matches.

6. and Pawn Stars and American Pickers
Now those are some intellectually heavy-weight history shows. (Disclaimer: I enjoy Pawn Stars, but on the History Channel? come on, man)
