Scott Walker’s Election Nightmare in Wisconsin
this is a long excellent article. I've just posted the last 4 paragraphs.

<snip>

As further proof that Governor Walker and his party are in for a very bad year, we can look to the election for Milwaukee County Executive, where Democrat Chris Abele destroyed the Republican candidate Rep. Jeff Stone (an assembly member who supported the anti-collective bargaining law) by a margin of 61-39.

Abele wins the seat left vacant by none other than Scott Walker who left the job to become the governor.

That’s what I call justice.

The inescapable bottom line is that the many political miscalculations of Scott Walker are now coming home to roost and even Koch Brothers money is unlikely to be enough to bail the governor and the state GOP out of the huge hole they have dug for themselves.

It wouldn’t be a terrible idea if GOP governors and congressional members from around the nation take heed of the lessons of Scott Walker’s April election nightmare. If they continue to force the right-wing revolution down the throats of an unappreciative public, there will be a large price to pay.

Just ask Scott.

2. They have no other choice but to pursue this path they are on,...
The demographics are changing so rapidly that they might not get a chance in my lifetime to put their agenda into play...

It's now or never for the tea party form of conservatism.

Gov. Scott Walker says the state Supreme Court race was not a referendum on him.

Walker said Wednesday the election that was too close to call was a choice about two different candidates with different backgrounds. Based on unofficial results previously unknown JoAnne Kloppenburg led incumbent David Prosser by a razor thin 206 votes.

Kloppenburg supporters tried to tie Prosser to Walker throughout the campaign against Prosser, who is a former Republican speaker of the Assembly.

Walker says for those who believe the election was a referendum, the votes against Prosser were largely focused in the Madison and Milwaukee areas. He says he's not worried that the election results are a bad sign for Republican state senators up for recalls.

7. with today's "liberally-biased media"?
I mean, come on ... the "bright shining example of liberal media" MSNBC let birther nutjob Trump rant on and on without a challenge ...

Bill O'Reilly interrupts President Obama more than twice as much as any liberal media person interrupted George W. Bush in an interview ... wait a minute ... was George W. Bush ever "interviewed" by a "liberal media person"???
