@jonathanalter: It's hard to believe the gov will shut over Planned Parenthood, a birth control dispenser that prevents 600k abortions a year.

@DavidShuster: Because DC isn't a state, the needle exchange program is "fed funded." Govt shutdown means 700 addicts won't get clean ones monday.

DavidShuster: When addicts don't get clean needles, they spread diseases and increase rates of HIV. So, govt shutdown means + HIV in DC.

2. Basically our soldiers wont get paid
all in the name of shutting down/defunding Planned Parenthood and HCR that is allowing millions of people to have health insurance and get added coverage if they already have insurance (especially if you are female).
