What can be done to verify the Waukesha results? |
|
The word of the clerk/self-admitted idiot who reported the "error" clearly can't be trusted. Is there a paper trail of some kind that be verified by the public? Anything else?

17. You seem oddly accepting of this monumental development |
|
Considering both the magnitude of the GOP clerk's supposed error as well as her clearly dubious past on exactly the very issues involved, your blithe acceptance of the entire matter and lack of curiosity about it is disturbing and strange.

33. Waukesha County even. |
|
We keep fighting. Prosser won his last election w/99.5% He got 547,000 votes. We tripled turnout and he only increased his votes by 35%.
Kloppenburg was a virtual unknown and Prosser has been in WI politics for 2 decades. He was polling THIRTY POINTS UP 8 weeks ago. Getting it to 50/50 is a fucking miracle. We'll recount and if there's fraud, we'll find it.
We have 8 active recalls, 2 filed. We won't give up.

5. Better than that. If the records were saved on personal computers, |
|
there are electronic records that are impossible for skilled PROs not to find. If the republican operative altered records, footprints exist. The woman likely is going to end up in jail and the votes from her county invalidated.

25. Yes jail. The woman has left an electronic trail. |
|
The personal computers in her office were purchased with public money. Her personal computer is not an official government computer if she purchased that computer. She has painted herself into a corner. She is done. Unlike you, I have faith in the power of right. You don't. As far as you are concerned, I will leave the matter at that.

30. My faith is just about shot. |
|
Pretty much the last glimmer of faith I had was in 2008, you know, "change we can believe in ..."
So let's see how that worked out ... health care reform, no public option. I have insurance that covers me if I have a heart attack, maybe, but I still can't afford to go to the doctor, and I can't afford two prescriptions that I need TO LIVE. TO LIVE.
The banksters/fraudsters are still walking the streets -- oh wait, they're not walking, they're being carried by an administration that just can't do enough for them ...
Major corporations make billions of dollars profit in the U.S. -- surely they're paying their fair share, right? WRONG.
A former Dem stronghold like WI elects a Puke total fucking corrupt IDIOT governor, Puke majorities in both houses of the legislature, and watches in horror as the Pukes steal the SC election to rubber stamp the governor's agenda. The same shit is happening is OH and IN with their teabag governors.
Meanwhile in Washington, the Teabaggers, a fucking fringe of the GOP, are running the show, and the Dems aren't even bothering to look for the spine they never had.
So yeah, if that's "change we can believe in," then my faith is shot.
Tell me why I'm wrong.

A COURT ORDER has to be obtained to have these counted by hand. Otherwise they are re-counted through the stinking tabulator/ Diebold computer software.....

finding thousands of votes in a bright red area the day after an election? By a rogue clerk who has her own secret computer system and didn't notice a whole city had been left out of her totals? This is theft.

Not "Dems" as you are trying to imply. And while the elderly Ms. Kitzinger in question is certainly a nice, well-meaning person, it would be a stretch-and-a-half to believe, among other things, that she is thoroughly familiar with the ins-and-outs of Excel spreadsheets, legacy hardware, and proprietary database software that Nickolaus spoke about during her press meeting.

12. Democrats should count their own votes. |
|
Seriously, canvass the whole friggen' state. Those that won't participate are most likely an R vote. Lets see how many D's vs. R's we can confirm. Of course, it is meaningless in the official results, but it will accomplish 2 things-
(1) Show Democrats that the Party is motivated in protecting their base and our future. (2) Either validate the actual result as true - in which case, we have confidence in our electoral process or if false, publish that as fair warning to protect the vote integrity in the future. The Republican "win" will be put in context that they are killing this democracy with their illegal election stealing. Perhaps some of the rubes who vote against their best interests will be less enthused going forward with supporting a Party that steals elections to rob the middle-class blind.
Just to give it more credence, hire a professional auditing firm to conduct the polling and have people sign an affidavit attesting to their vote.

16. Is there any way that federal authorities can be brought into this? |
|
Walker controls all state authorities: state police, state supreme court, state senate and legislature etc. so there is no one to seize control and lock things down and do an impartial audit.
All the evidence has just been sitting there wide open and vulnerable to tampering for many hours now. The best solution, at this point, would probably be to disallow all the votes from that jurisdiction. There is no reason to believe that the evidence hasn't been tampered with.

27. Just toss out an entire city's votes? |
|
You can't be serious.
If there's problems in the vote totals they'll be found and corrected. The evidence right now, even as per the Democratic representative, indicates that they are most likely real votes.
Expect some real smart people to get involved real soon now. If something's amiss, it will surface.

GAB and the Democrats will look into this. Our state Dems are amazing, y'all have gotten a taste of that recently. If there has been fraud, we'll find it. If there has been misconduct, we'll expose it.

Always start out doubting with these people. I trust Democrats will be involved enough to look into it. We should even chip in for a recount if we have to.

31. And the Rs will say . . . |
|
That for Dane County, "the best solution, at this point, would probably be to disallow all the votes from that jurisdiction. There is no reason to believe that the evidence hasn't been tampered with."
Uh, I think the burden of proof is on those who claim that votes HAVE been tampered with. You can't just throw out a whole city's votes because "there is no reason to believe that the evidence hasn't been tampered with." rofl
