A margin of 204 votes was suspicious in the first place. I bet a recount was about to uncover a whole lotta ugly.

But look - 7000 new votes. No recount.

1. So, anyone know - will there still be a recount?

By hand? Will those 7000 magic votes be well scrutinized?

2. Court order must be obtained to hand count "special" Opti-Scan Ballots
Sorry I am posting this everywhere- Wisconsin recount rules state "special instructions" for optical scan ballots which is what Waukesha county uses: They will be re-sent through the (ES&S) computer / tabulator otherwise (complete with "top secet" software). NOT acceptable.

I left for a couple hours myself and just came back to this. Feel like I should DO something... Absolutely at a loss to know what. Might go downtown and see if there is a protest brewing. Might have to go alone though

6. Oh hell, yes. You think wiunion won't be able to get the scratch for a recount?
5 bucks a ward comes out to $18,150 if I've done the math right. Think of all the money people have spent on pizza for #wiunion. I'm thinking they'll be able to raise money for a recount.

5. Yeah, I was suspicious of the 204 margin from the start.
I kept thinking Prosser would concede in order to avoid a recount - I never imagined they'd magically pull enough votes out of lying asses to accomplish the same... \

It's just too damned suspicious. Election after election with 51% to 49% results is suspicious. I really don't think we're living in a democracy any longer.

7. I've been agitated and upset since yesterday over this ABSURD closeness
tried to post about it here today and got slammed left and right by a half dozen different people. When things are too close for comfort - literally unbelievably close - shit can happen. Shit like this. Also - Prosser and the thug party of Wisconsin been Strangely silent over this... something very rotten is happening.

Im going to either start bawling or go downtown and see if there is a riot yet.

8. I saw a twitter post from Egypt during their revolution
it went something like: 'if they want to rig the election they should do it the way the US does - 51% wins all the time'
