How can I help you in Wi?
Something smells there - I live in Az but something is not right. Over 7,000 votes enough to stop a recount? I want to help with the investigation. Something is seriously wrong.

I could fly there but economically it would hurt but I would be willing to do that. Donations? We can't let Walker and the Koch bros think they own us.

Tell us how we can help.

2. One way
would be to make sure this stupid stuff doesn't happen in AZ, too. There should be paper ballots everywhere. They should be countable and stored securely. There should not be some gal in an office somewhere who can say, "Oops, lookey here! I found 7000 votes and they are for my former boss (who might even need my help in his brand new position???)." It would do us all good if we knew that, in the 2012 election, other states would not have descended to the level of second grade organizational skills, if that. That might be a start. I am completely pissed here. This is a travesty. Proesser is going to win because of this lady and her votes from nowhere. I guess I would say, please don't do to the United States what Waukesha County has just done to Wisconsin. Thanks for asking.:hi:

6. See PeaceNikki's links, and
hound the media. They should be all over the Waukesha problems, but all they'll see is the drama of Prosser pulling ballots out of his rear end. Get the word out and keep dogging the media if they don't give us the WHOLE story.

They've ignored over 150,000 people marching on a cold winter day in Madison, they've ignored the abusive bill, they've ignored the illegal acts of the legislature and the Dept of Administration and Walker, they've ignored the First Amendment violations and the ADA violations that are STILL taking place in the Capitol. Draw the line. Don't let them ignore this.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to all DUers who are outraged and who are willing to help us in this fight. :pals:

7. Why do posters keep on saying "enough to stop a recount"??
Nobody is stopping a recount. If the margin of victory is 0.5% or less the recount is free. The recount here assuming the current figures will be about $17,000 for the loser. That is a trivial amount compared with the amount spent on the campaign.
