Some INTRADE numbers to think about

Intrade is usually a pretty good gauge of what the general public currently feels about things, because it is based on people putting their money where their mouth is.

Here's some current numbers:

Democratic Party to win 2012 Presidential Election: 62.4%

Democratic Party to control Senate after 2012 Elections: 28.9%

US Govt to shutdown at or before June 30th, 2011: 40.0% (I put it much higher than this)

Gaddafi no longer leader of Libya by December 31, 2011: 66.0%

3. What were the numbers last week? The week before?
Intrade is GAMBLING. And you need to factor in the idiots hoping to score with a longshot.
