Must See--Highway To The Fukushima Zone: First Person Trek Through A Radioactive Wasteland |
|
An intrepid Japanese duo has decided to do the reverse Fukushima commute and in a stunning filmed expose, drives through cracked roads, herds of animals in city streets and ghost towns to measure the radiation from 30 km out to 1.5 km away from Fukushima, where it hits 112 microsieverts, or roughly 350 times normal radiation. But don't worry. Everything is still under the recently updgraded (twice) legal limit.... for those clad in lead armor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHWvbisFg0I&feature=player_embeddedhttp://www.zerohedge.com/article/highway-fukushima-zone-first-person-trek-through-radioactive-wasteland

1. Both eerie and interesting. The dogs will eventually form packs and |
|
take down the herds of cattle for food. I was surprised to see so many buildings still standing and power lines still up. Sad to see the gardens still growing and know that they cannot be eaten. Roads were in better condition than I thought for an island that moved 8 feet.

8. The question that always comes to my mind- especially after watching this, is... |
|
HOW fucking dare we construct these death traps? When the Earth rightfully shakes us off, as the parasite fleas and vermin we are to her, WHAT are we leaving the innocent Fur People to deal with?
WHO will protect them from our selfish folly?
Those dogs hit me really hard, Two of them appear to be Jindo Gae. The best dogs in the world.
What will become of them?
We need to shut down EVERYTHING that could endanger whatever species that might remain after mother nature orchestrates our well deserved extinction.
Yes, we deserve to be extinct, in that we are the only species that shits in our own nest and others as well.
The innocents do not not deserve what we will leave them.
