Don't like Planned Parenthood, GOP? Fine. Give me an alternative. |
|
So, what is Republican plan to provide services like Pap tests, breast cancer screenings and birth control to an estimated 5 million low income women every year? OK, they don't like Planned Parenthood. I get that. So, what's their alternative?

1. Women barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. Who don't talk back and speak when they are spoken to. |

3. You're assuming they give a shit. |
|
They don't care -- and that's the best case. Lots of them disapprove of all those things.

One more wingnut on the Supreme Court and we lose Roe v. Wade AND Griswold v. Connecticut.

6. I think they're hoping that it'll cull the low income population to be honest |
|
Limit access to birth control for women who can't afford it so as to force them to have children, but expect that they will not get proper natal care and have birth complications, leading to death of mother AND child. If the child and mother survive, then the child is already beginning to be primed for life as a serf, because it's what the parent knows. For the same reason they will deny things like pap smears and cancer screenings in the hopes that if it is caught at all, it will be too late for these women to get treatment if they can afford it at all. We're worthless drones to them, easily replaced.
This is just my opinion.

11. You'll have to pardon me |
|
I'm not feeling well today and I admit that wasn't the clearest explanation.
No womens health services for lower class women -> sick women -> dead women -> less lower class No womens health services for lower class women -> children born without any aide available -> preconditioned to low standards of living -> docile population glad for each penny
 tried to make it clearer. Still just my opinion.

8. They have no alternative and until it's their families in the middle they don't care. |
|
In the olden days they just went to the underground clinics or doctors or flew out of the country.

10. They don't want any one getting anything for 'free'. Not for |
|
healthcare, school lunches, public education, food stamps, etc. It always comes down to their attitude that no one should have to pay taxes so that another person can benefit.

13. This is a mistake Dems make. The GOP doesn't want the same things, just a different way. |
|
They want completely different things. They want a govt that doesn't help anybody. They think a govt that helps anybody is "moral hazard." They don't care what the consequences are -- they're social darwinists.
They don't want solutions to these problems. They want a govt that isn't involved in solving these problems.
