So, I got paid
My paycheck was $1000.

I took $980 and blew it on what I wanted. Didn't pay my bills--just used it for luxury items and things I wanted.

I then took the last $20 and sat down to pay my bills.
Problem was...I had more bills than money...so I am sitting with a pile of unpaid bills and no way to pay them until next payday.

So...the smart person would realize that you can't just take 98% of your income out of the equation. It won't work. On or off paper.

WHY can't people realize that if you do not tax 98% of the money in this country...that the bills will not get paid???

3. How are we not...
"taxing 98% of the money in the country"?

Please. That is false on its face.

4. The point being that 98% of the money is in the hands of the 1-2% who don't pay taxes.
You know, the ones who have offshored their money, get subsidies, find write offs, etc. They get waivers to not pay taxes as their firms use up infrastructure and services or they move their businesses from state to state. They do not pay anything in proportion to their income. A million dollars a day isn't enough cash flow for them.

They have a religious reason for that way of doing things because it's against God's Will to tax them. Because God gave them the money, and thieving socialist governments and lazy, whining welfare queens are trying to pick their pockets. God is against that theft, too.

So that's why it says 98% of the money in the country.

The other 98% of population are the parasites. They get soaked since they must pay up front with payroll deductions and can't hide their income while they make up excuses to not pay. And they don't have the tax code rigged in their favor like the 1-2% with 98% of the money in this country.

How about them apples?

5. It's pretty stupid to claim...
the top 2% pay no taxes whatsoever. Check the tax stats.

8. Dude...
The first person to tell me that the top 2% has 98% of the money and pays 0% of the taxes was an effing billionaire... and you have no doubt given money to his billions. He went to a "wealth" management seminar and came home with all sorts of stats like that. Most of his peers cheered... this guy was a Democrat and basically a good cat in that regard, and he was appalled at learning... and even more appalled at the cheers from his peers.

This is no joke.

10. See post # 9
If the top 2% paid no tax whatsoever, our government would cease to function.
