What Has To Happen To Restart The Government After A Shutdown.....

It looks like the shutdown is inevitable. So I'll ask the next question. Once shutdown - how does it get restarted?

Do the Dems and Repugs still have to come to an agreement? Will the Dems be forced into making more concessions? They shouldn't have to.

1. Usually the best way is to put it in neutral and have someone else push it while you pop the clutch

and turn the ignition at the same time. It might take a couple tries.

2. Republicans will get more and more bad press

and more and more letters and emails until they will be forced to back down. At least that is what is supposed to happen.

The Democrats will give the Republicans everything they want to get them to relent...including things that won't affect the economy at all.

6. I guess the next step is a corporate takeover of the government,

since it is incapable of getting things done. Taxes will be taken out of your pay check and from credit card and atm transaction and sent directly to Goldman Sachs. This will save enormous money by cutting out the middleman.

Government services will end, except for protecting corporate property, which will also save enormous amounts of money. But, of course, taxes on working people will remain the same.
