OK I admit this might be a stupid question, but |
Just what form are the 'found' votes in Wisconsin. Does Wisconsin vote on paper ballots which can be counted by hand and verified, electronic voting machines with a tape, electronic machines with no tape, or something else? If the votes are paper ballots which can be counted and verified and turn out to be real, then sadly we lost and this just sucks. If not, then we have to wonder. Nate Silver's analysis is, sadly pretty good here and shows that she was just an incompetent boob in great likelihood. But, I would love to see me some paper ballots. At the very least we deserve a full, free recount.

1. Why would that question be considered stupid? It's an important one. |
And I'm sure that the answers will provide voluminous posting material on DU for some time to come.

3. I'm under the impression they're in the form |
of a saved/not saved spreadsheet.
More reasons we need paper ballots. Or at least a good paper trail.

4. I agree that electronic ballots are very suspect, but |
why would you think that paper ballots were safe? Since there has been voting, there has been ballot stuffing. Even paper ballots can be compromised.
