After all my time on the planet and this board it amazes me that |
|
Edited on Fri Apr-08-11 05:15 PM by rzemanfl
there are still people who believe there can be an "honest Republican error." Discuss.
On edit: No matter how I try to rephrase this, "honest" and "Republican" can't be used in a sentence without "Lincoln."

1. Well, first we need to address whether... |
|
...honest refers to the Republican or the error. Not that it matters.

once when I took Logic in college in 1966.

30. That's not what I am thinking of, it is more like "pink unicorns are |
|
agile" there are no pink unicorns so they can't be agile, there are no honest Republicans so they can't make errors.

17. But this county clerk, Republicon Nicklaus, is smarter and sneakier than most Rethugs. She's a con |
|
artist, but she does have knowledge on how to manipulate computers. I cannot give the benefit of the doubt to these people anymore, I will always look at their past behavior as an indicator as to whether they have any integrity or not. My first thought, is almost always right when it relates to thugs, they have no integrity and they will do what they have to in order to get their way, legal or not until they get caught and then the next pig steps in for their crazy cause. 33. I do think that this time the public is going to be |
|
On to her. So her "find" of seven thousand votes (or whatver the nuymber was) might not be allowable.
And she might have to resign. The fact that Rachel Maddow devoted a most excellent segment of her show to Nicklaus means a huge uptick in the public perception of what is going down in Waukesha County..
Now one of the bigger problems is that often there simply are not effective laws with which to punish voting scofflaws.
As someone who paid a lot of attention to voting "mistakes" regarding the 2004 election, there just aren't many laws on the books by which to hang someone found guilty of out and out voting fraud.
That is something we really need to change.

3. I agree that it could be an error |
|
Never would go as far as saying honest.
I spent hours last night going back with a couple of them that wanted to bend over backwards to give them the benefit of the doubt.
That is where I strongly disagree, a Repuke, in these times should never be given any benefit of the doubt.

about all of this. If it's an error it should be able to prove one way or another.
I know some "honest" Republicans, but they are more of the old school Eisenhower type Republicans, not this new breed of "the end justifies the means" kind that seem to have taken over.

10. It's just people trying to look good, better than everyone else, because they're willing to keep an |
|
"open mind", and the rest of us are "jumping" to conclusions. It's either that or, the freepers that post here trying to infiltrate the conversation. No matter, Just look at the actions of most Republicons, over a period of time, and the only realistic conclusion any thinking person can come to is that they cheat, have no integrity, they lie, they manipulate and they want to rule this country in their own and the corporate interests. These people are not patriots, they are not democratic and most seem to have a touch of insanity. To me, they are domestic terrorists, funded by the new Nazis within, Koch Klan Korp to tear this country apart for their own greedy desires. Lou

In this case I expect the vote totals to ultimately be added to the total. If not, I can be pleasantly surprised.

honest mistakes. This is a crucial axiom of the corporate-propaganda machine. Shame on you for questioning it.
