I'm not on FB (I have enough internet timewasters, thankyouverymuch) but the wife passed this on to me. Apparently Democrats want to shut down the internet.....I guess there's nothing that they won't lie about.

If the Republicans get their way, our last means of exercising our freedom of speech, unencumbered by CORPORATE CONTROL, will be taken from the cold dead clammy hands of WE THE PEOPLE.

THEY ARE TAKING AWAY OUR RIGHTS, FOLKS! Our elected representatives are determined to take away the very rights WE FOUGHT WARS FOR. The blood of our ancestors was shed to give us these rights. These rights are sacrosanct.

We have got to get ahead of this.

3. My local paper always refers to Net Neutrality with the phrase...

...that Republicans use around here. You guessed it -- the 'government takeover of the internet'. Because, you know, the internet was all created by business, for business, and now that goddamned gubmint wants to take control of it.

I hate these people.
