Politically, I Love Elliot Spitzer |
|
Every single thing he has said on Bill Maher tonight is right on target! What a waste that this man is not in office, especially given all the Republican sex scandals that haven't cost them their careers. I'm talking to you David Diaper Vitter! Let's forgive Mr Spitzer for his major f-up and get this man a Senate seat.

1. I forgave him (not that it was my place to do so) when I began to 'know' him |
|
from appearances on MSNBC and what I've subsequently learned about him. I praise him for resigning, much more responsible than, as you say, any of the R's -- And we're talking to you too, John Ensign! I hope his family life is okay and that his wife is healing.
He'd have made a great AG, but Obama was so skittish about his appointments at the beginning, don't know if he would have chanced it because of the "scandal".

6. Spitzer truly inspires me. I'd vote for him in a second. |

Seems all the great political leaders I supported had wild sex lives. Like I give 2 shits about what they do in bed.

7. If I was American I'd vote for him for sure. I think he needs to spend some time as a journalist... |
|
and excel at that (which he does) for a few years. Then he should try a comeback. He reminds me of Bobby Kennedy.

8. What I have a problem forgiving him for is his hypocrisy |
|
He made quite a name for himself busting sex workers while he was on his way up.

10. It's my business if he asks me |
|
to vote for him, or even listen to him. Just because she's playing the "good wife" doesn't mean I have to accept his hypocrisy. If I do, then I'm no better than those who look the other way at Vitter and Ensign.
Surely, we have enough leaders on our side who are not so willing to say one thing, and do another so blatantly.
