A lot of Democrats -- and moderate independents -- happen to believe that bringing in additional revenue by restoring some of the responsibility of the wealthy corporations to help fund government.
But that has been taken off the table.
There are other ways to bring the budget into line besides chopping. But those are corporate sacred cows that the centrist conservative Dems don't even want to acknowledge.
