2. Agreed ...
I feel like I lost my country tonight.

If a Dem president and Senate can't avoid having to
uber-compromise with a bunch of rightwing wackos
then ...

The media IS the message. Rupert Murdoch knew this
before he was even an American citizen. WE NEED
TO LEARN THIS LESSON NOW (even if a bit too late).

IT'S MONEY THAT MATTERS ... We need big Dem donors
(yes, Barbra; yes, George Soros; yes Ted Turner
ALL OVER AGAIN) to give us a media outlet that can
get the message out there. If we don't get people
to agree with us within the next few years, we will
be in the wilderness in perpetuity ... and we will
lose our country.

3. I doubt George & Ted, et al will "help us" until they see that "we" are
willing to get off the couch and actually

a) pay attention/understand what is happening

b) be willing to PHYSICALLY do something about it (like, show-up for a demonstration, vote, look forward to serving/being called for jury-duty, etc.

so

4. I was just telling a colleague today that I'm waiting for the spark ...
I've seen Egypt ... I've seen Wisconsin ... and
I'm waiting where we go on to express our national
displeasure with how things are going.

I appreciate Egypt because they did this without
a leader ... I guess we stupid Americans need
someone to tell us where to go.

"They got the guns but ... we got the numbers ..."

Where do WE go to TAKE OVER?
