I just don't know how Republicans can look at themselves in the mirror. |
|
They have taken food out of the mouths of poor children and infants, lowered our educational system even lower than it already is, and tried to take health care away from women. How macho is that? Stomp on those who need help while giving tax breaks to millionaires.
What they have done will not just hurt Democratic voters. It will hurt Republican voters also. And I believe that there will be more Republican voters hurt by all of this since a lot of them live in poorer southern states. And as the teabaggers keep talking about ending Social Security and medicare, seniors will wake up also. I see this as the beginning of the end of the Republican party. They are going to lose a lot of votes when the people they have hurt go to the poles again.
Shame on these heartless, mean-spirited, cruel, money loving, warmongers. If there is a hell, the demons are dusting off the hot seats in anticipation of their arrival.

2. Why didn't Democrats pass massive social spending when they had the majority? |

This would be a hellavu lot less mess if the Repubs were trying to roll back single payer healthcare.

4. There's a quote from the Simpsons that describes them perfectly: |
|
"How do you sleep at night?" "On a pile of money with many beautiful ladies." "Yeesh."

6. I see them up close and personal. |

These people honestly do not care about anyone or anything but themselves. They have never considered walking in someone else's shoes. They do not compromise because they have an empirical outlook towards those who are not images of their own mindset. These folks are extremely judgmental and possess hardly any sympathy or empathy in their hearts. Yet, they are passionately self-righteous at the same time. In times of crisis or hardship, you will not be able to find them because they disdain any sort of turbulence that interferes with their lives. That's even true within their own families.

11. You're right, but.... |

this time the teabaggers have been thrown into the mix. They say that they are not a political party, but they sure do act as though they are. The day after the last election President Obama stated that he would be willing to compromise with the Republicans, Boehner stated that he would not compromise with the Democrats, and a spokesman for the "Tea Party" stated that they would not compromise with the Democrats OR the Republicans. They are setting themselves apart and that is going to weaken the Republicans. This won't "end" the Republican party, but it seems like it would weaken it to the point that that party will never be the same again.
