but sort of feel like the genders should be switched. Mostly because the reality is that women are usually the one's stuck caring for an unwanted baby rather than men. The way it's drawn the GOP could just dump the tea party and leave them with the baby (which, unfortunately, is a more familiar pattern in real life). If the GOP was the woman, even dumping the tea party leaves them with the baby to deal with.

Of course, certainly symbolically the clean-cut suited male GOP is more representative.
