So DC -- where exactly is the *Shared Sacrifice*?

WHERE is the announcements about cut backs to Congressional, Senatorial and WH salaries? Does the Federal pay freeze apply to YOU?

Do you really think the American public is going to buy this abhorrent talking point when YOU do NOTHING to *share the sacrifice*?

Or have we gotten to the point where we have what our Founding Fathers did not want -- a nobility class that deems itself untouchable?

Taking a pay CUT would be sharing the sacrifice. Giving up the leased vehicles, the gas allowances, etc., would be shared sacrifice.

Presidential pay has not changed since 2001, Veep pay and cabinet pay since 2003, and Congressional pay did not go up by November of 2008 (do I need to include a link for the Constitution?)

Also, Federal Pay was not completely frozen, since they still get automatic step increases periodically.
